A man hit a mine near Sudzha in the Kursk region.

Near the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region, a man was blown up by a mine of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in his car while trying to assess the state of the city. This was announced on June 26 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"A civilian car hit a mine at the entrance to the city of Suje last night. There was a 53-year-old man in the car who wanted to see the state of the city," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is noted that the victim was hospitalized in a local medical facility with a mine-explosive, closed craniocerebral injury, as well as a cut wound to the face.

The man is currently receiving the necessary assistance.

On June 10, two combine harvesters hit a mine in the village of Sheptukhovka, Kursk region. It was noted that two young men aged 18 and 23 were injured.
