Experts spoke about the growing popularity of "mobile families"

Russian residents have become more likely to share minutes and gigabytes of their tariff with their loved ones. This is the conclusion reached by Megafon analysts after examining the anonymized data of subscribers.
"Since the beginning of the year, the number of customers who use gigabytes, minutes and SMS with their family has increased by almost 25%. The organizers of family groups are more often men, who make up almost 58% of the total number of group owners," the experts noted.
The highest percentage of men who form such groups is observed in the Taimyr and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Chechnya, Dagestan and the Magadan Region. The top ten also includes Moscow, Sochi, Chelyabinsk region, Udmurtia and Komi.
There were a third fewer women among the owners of family groups — 42% of the total number of organizers. This situation is typical for almost all regions of the country. An atypical pattern was observed only in Tuva, Kalmykia and Buryatia. At the same time, in general, women began to create "mobile families" 23% more actively compared to the beginning of the year.
Usually, a "mobile family" consists of 2-3 people (in 73% of cases), and the average monthly traffic consumption is 18-20 GB.
