In China, six people died as a result of severe floods in Rongjiang and Congjiang counties of Guizhou Province. This was reported by the Lianhe Zaobao newspaper on June 26.

"As of Thursday (the 26th), floods led to the deaths of six people in the county," the article says.

The newspaper writes that due to floods, the infrastructure of some villages was seriously damaged, which led to the interruption of communication.

In addition, meteorologists expect a decrease in precipitation in Guizhou on Friday, June 27.

The day before, more than 80,000 people were evacuated due to floods in China's Guizhou province. It was noted that the provincial Department of Emergency Situations has allocated more than 5,000 funds to assist the victims.
