Ural customs officers found 190 shoes on the right foot of a Chinese citizen.


In the Urals, customs officers found 190 shoes on his right foot in the suitcases of a Chinese citizen. This was announced on June 26 on the website of the Ural Customs Administration.
"During customs control, in the passenger's textile suitcases, weighing a total of 61 kg, inspectors found 190 pairs of right—foot boots in various shades, materials and sizes in the assortment," the message says.
According to the Chinese citizen, these shoes were intended for sale in the Yekaterinburg market.
It is specified that an administrative offense case has been initiated against him under Part 1 of Article 16.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Non-declaration of goods subject to customs declaration in accordance with the established form").
The incident is currently being investigated.
The day before, at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport, transport police officers seized a package containing a narcotic substance from a local resident. It was noted that at the baggage inspection point, the transport police found a 40-year-old passenger with a green substance of plant origin, as well as a smoking pipe.
