The new Lada Granta modification went on sale
Sales of the Lada Granta liftback in the new Active Cross modification have started in Russia. This is stated in the message of the press service of AVTOVAZ, which was received by Izvestia on June 26. In the Active Cross version, the car features a ground clearance increased to 198 mm and a contrasting body kit. The liftback has an upgraded suspension and 15-inch wheels with 195/55 tires.
The initial version of the Active Cross is based on the Comfort configuration. It includes a 90-horsepower eight-valve 1.6 engine with five-speed mechanics, air conditioning, two airbags, heated front seats and mirrors, and an audio system. The starting price of this model starts from 1.19 million rubles. For comparison, a regular liftback in the Comfort version costs from 1.11 million rubles.
The version with a 16-valve engine (106 hp) and mechanics costs from 1.37 million rubles. In this configuration, the liftback is additionally equipped with the EnjoY Pro multimedia system, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, cruise control with a speed limiter, and fog lights. The list of equipment also includes an automatic climate control system, a central lock with remote control of the electric windows of the front doors with automatic mode and heated windshield.
Simultaneously with the start of sales of the new product, a Flamenco burgundy shade appeared in the Lada Granta palette, and the number of colors available for the model expanded to seven.
The day before, it was reported that an application for registration of a new Lada Yarus trademark appeared in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). It is possible that a promising Lada model will receive the Yarus name in the future.
Also on June 25, dealers said that the Lada Azimut crossover could become a new bestseller in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) on the Russian market.
