The new town on the Arabatskaya Strelka in the Kherson region will become a resort. This was announced on June 26 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

According to him, a master plan is already being implemented and construction is underway.

"It will look very beautiful, attractive and comfortable. The Kherson region has very great potential for the construction of housing and recreation facilities, as well as sanatorium-resort facilities," Saldo said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He added that it is planned to build no more than nine floors, large areas are provided for individual housing construction.

He also said that this summer there has been an increase in the flow of tourists who come to Crimea through the Kherson region. He also stressed that the construction of a two-lane four-lane highway "Azov Ring" will begin in the near future.
