The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) launched an air strike using FAB-1500 bombs at a temporary deployment site The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on June 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

They noted that during the reconnaissance activities, Russian military personnel discovered the temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, disguised in the forest belts.

"The command decided to defeat the enemy's LDPE by means of an air attack at the time of the largest concentration of personnel," the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian Aerospace Forces also hit three FAB-500 aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module at the temporary deployment point of a Ukrainian army unit near the settlement of Novoeconomichoe in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces had hit a fortified area of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR. It was clarified that the object was hit in the area of the settlement of Popov Yar. Russian aircraft launched a series of strikes with precision weapons.
