The analyst estimated a 10-20% drop in coffee prices by the end of the year.

By the end of the year, coffee prices in the world may decrease by 10-20%. Kirill Seleznev, an expert on the Garda Capital stock market, announced this on June 26.
"If weather anomalies do not spoil optimistic harvest plans, prices may gradually cool down further. We expect them to decrease by 10-20% by the end of the year. Arabica may drop in price below $ 6 thousand per ton, robusta may fall in price to $ 3 thousand or lower," Seleznev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, the key reason for the reduction in the cost of the product was the statements of coffee producers from Brazil about their expectation of favorable weather conditions. In addition, last year's increase in the price of the drink significantly reduced its availability, which led to a decrease in demand.
Earlier, on June 23, specialist Irina Lyalina pointed out dangerous additives in instant coffee. The unbalanced composition of raw materials for instant coffee worsens its taste, and manufacturers compensate for this with various elements, usually harmful to the body.
