VK team organized surprise concerts for graduates at schools

On June 25, Russian graduates received an unexpected gift: the VK team organized secret surprise concerts at six schools with the participation of famous artists. The stars not only performed their hits, but also shared their life stories.

Graduates admired their assembly halls, which had been turned into professional concert venues.

"Cameras are set up all over the hall so as not to miss a single emotion. After all, the students do not know why they came here, and what awaits them there, behind the screen. It's a surprise for them," said Ksenia Soldatova, a correspondent for Izvestia.

Motivational IOWA band songs were played in Dolgoprudny, and singer and dancer Niletto (Danil Prytkov) energized the audience in Pavlovskaya Sloboda.

"Seeing him here in person is something incredible," said graduate Danila Dmitriev.

At Novokosino School named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Admiral A.P. Mikhailovsky, singer Johnny (JONY, Jahid Huseynli) not only performed, but also inspired the children with his success story. The artist himself is a graduate of this school.

"As Johnny said, sometimes people didn't believe in him, but you don't give up, you move forward. That everything will work out," said Milana Ryazanova, a graduate.

This is the seventh time VK has organized large-scale concerts for schoolchildren with the participation of stars.

"They have worked as hard as possible, they are taking this endless exam. They have a lot of responsibility. <...> This is a very cool project," said Ekaterina Ivanchikova, lead singer of the IOWA band.

Between performances, the graduates had the opportunity to chat with the artists. The highlights were included in the VK film "The Main Graduation", which raises the current problems of teenagers.

Singer Bearwolf (Valeria Vasilevskaya) did not accidentally choose a song about inner strength — at school she faced bullying because of her excess weight. The actress said that once a classmate drew her in a literature lesson — just a circle with eyes. But this only gave Vasilevskaya strength.

"When I saw him as an adult, he wanted to talk to me, well, understood. I'm like, no, man, don't even come near me," the actress shared.

This year, the scale of the project has reached Barnaul, the hometown of singer Zhenya Trofimov.
