The Australian authorities have imposed sanctions on 44 individuals and legal entities from Russia, including against the performer Yaroslav Dronov, known under the creative pseudonym SHAMAN. This was announced on June 25 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the state.

"Australia has imposed new sanctions against 44 individuals and organizations associated with Russian industries that help fuel its economy," she said, according to the country's Foreign Minister Penny Wong on the social network X (Ex. Twitter).

It is specified that the restrictions affected 37 Russian citizens and seven more organizations.

On June 25, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that Washington would lose the opportunity to engage in dialogue with Moscow if new sanctions were imposed. According to him, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, will reject Europe's requests to strengthen sanctions against Russia because he wants to be able to negotiate a peace agreement.
