Russian army soldiers spoke about the poor training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) who opposed them during the liberation of the Yalta settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on June 26.

"They mostly have mobilization resources on the front line now. They are very poorly prepared. They are very afraid, but they snap back," said the platoon commander with the call sign Prince.

The soldier also said that the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine often try to finish off their comrades who are trying to surrender to the Russian army with drones or artillery.

During the liberation of Yalta, Russian units used a military trick — they arced into the enemy's rear, thereby encircling him.

"And it turns out that we are already encircling [the enemy] from the rear flank. It's small, but it's a ring," said a soldier with the call sign Demon in an interview with correspondent Valentin Trushnin.

The liberation of Yalta in the DPR by the Russian military became known on June 25. On the same day, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of the village. The defense Ministry added that engineering and sapper groups had cleared the area and the territory adjacent to Yalta.
