Due to temporary flight suspensions at some airports in the Volga Federal District (PFD), airlines continue to adjust schedules. This was announced on June 25 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako in the Telegram channel.

"Currently, five airports in the Volga Federal District are not sending or accepting flights: Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Penza, Samara and Ulyanovsk," he said.

It is specified that the situation at the airports affected by the restrictions is calm. Airline representatives are working with passengers whose flights have been postponed due to circumstances.

"It is extremely important for carriers to fully comply with federal aviation regulations governing, among other things, the provision of drinks and food, and the organization of passenger accommodation in a hotel," Korenyako said.

According to him, cases of refusal to provide passengers with places in hotels are unacceptable. After the restrictions are lifted, this will be additionally notified. Airports are also ready to strengthen shifts for the operational release of aircraft.

The representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency noted that the restrictions were introduced to ensure flight safety.

Adjustments to the flight schedule to the Volga Federal District were reported earlier, on June 24. The airline Nordwind also informed about the change in the flight schedule. Representatives of Kazan Airport said that together with air carriers they are taking measures to ensure the comfort of passengers.
