US President Donald Trump called for the dismissal of CNN journalist Natasha Bertrand due to reports that American troops allegedly did not achieve their goals during the strikes on Iran. He announced this on June 25 in his social network Truth Social.

"Natasha Bertrand should be fired from CNN! I watched her deal with fake news for three days. She needs to be reprimanded immediately and then kicked out "like a dog," he said.

According to the American leader, the journalist had previously also reported false information in the investigation "Laptop from Hell" about the activities of the son of the previous US President Joe Biden Hunter. Trump noted that Bertrand had now "cast a bad light" on the US Army pilots, who had actually successfully completed the task.

"She should not be allowed to work on CNN's Fake News. It was people like her who destroyed the reputation of the once great network," the US leader said.

On June 24, CNN reported that the US strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities had not caused significant damage to the main components of Iran's nuclear program and had only suspended work on it for several months, contrary to the statements of the American government.

Later in the day, Trump accused the American media of discrediting attacks on targets in Iran. According to the US president, Iran's nuclear facilities that have become targets have been "completely destroyed."
