Axios reported on Trump's plans to restrict congressional access to classified data

US President Donald Trump plans to limit the exchange of classified information with the US Congress after data was leaked about "not so successful" strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. This was announced on Wednesday, June 25, by the Axios portal, citing unnamed sources.
The leak of the Military Intelligence Agency's preliminary "Combat Damage Assessment" angered the president and senior US officials, who said it was incomplete and that its publication was aimed at undermining Trump's claims that Iran's nuclear facilities had been "destroyed," the material says.
The portal's sources also reported that the FBI is investigating the leak.
The Trump administration will restrict the publication of data on CAPNET, a system used to share classified information with Congress.
Earlier on June 24, Trump accused the American channel CNN and NYT of trying to discredit the US strikes on Iran and publishing false information. According to the US president, Iran's nuclear facilities that have become targets have been "completely destroyed."
On the same day, CNN reported that the US strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities had not caused significant damage to the main components of Iran's nuclear program and had only suspended work on it for several months, contrary to the statements of the American government.
