Construction of two schools for 2.2 thousand places is being completed in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, the construction of two new schools, designed for 1.1 thousand places each, is being completed. Contractors have already started landscaping the surrounding areas, according to the city administration.

Finishing works, installation of engineering networks and partitions, installation of windows and stained glass windows are still underway in the school building on Omskaya Street. Equipment is being imported. The contractor expects to complete the work by July 30.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the school on Vzletnaya Street is also in a high state of readiness. The contractor has also started landscaping the courtyard and is continuing work inside the building at the same time.

According to Acting Mayor Alexei Shuvalov, the contracts provide for the completion of construction by the end of September, but contractors are oriented towards the end of August in order to open schools by the beginning of the school year.

In February, it was reported that a new school would be built in Krasnoyarsk in the Solnechny microdistrict. A plot on Sokolovskaya Street has been allocated for construction. The school in Solnechny will be designed for 1,1 thousand places.
