The weather forecaster told about the weather in Moscow at the end of June
Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, predicted cool weather in Moscow until the end of June.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, June 25, the specialist noted that by the end of the month, the weather in the capital region will be determined by cyclones, most often from their rear (cold) part. According to forecasters, the north-westerly current will remain in the region, bringing coolness and dense clouds.
Wind gusts reach 12 m/s and will remain at this level until the end of the week. Due to the low temperatures at altitude, the surface air layer also remains cool.
At night, the temperature will range from +9 to +14 degrees, the coldest will be on Saturday night — no higher than +11 degrees. In the afternoon, it is expected from +17 to +21 degrees, on Saturday and Sunday, the sun and low clouds are forecast with a maximum of up to +21 degrees.
Forecasters also note that slight warming is possible on June 30, but the temperature will still remain below the climatic norm by 2-3.5 degrees.
On the same day, in an interview with RT, Pozdnyakova noted that by the end of June, the air temperature would remain below the climatic norm. Before that, Pozdnyakova told Izvestia that the rainy weather would remain in Moscow until the end of June.
On June 23, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather center, noted that warming would return to Moscow only in July. According to him, this month does not promise heat — the temperature may be only 0.5–1 degrees above normal. Moderate warmth is expected without suffocating heat, writes "Moscow 24".
