The court arrested a suspect in the murder of the college principal and his lawyer

Alexander Arkhipov, a suspect in the murder of the director of the Olympic Reserve College, and his lawyer Yevgeny Aksenov were taken into custody in the Tula region. This was reported on June 25 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"At the request of the investigator of the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tula region in relation to a man accused of murdering two local residents, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention," the department's Telegram channel clarifies.

On the same day, the man was charged. It was clarified that he was charged under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two people"). The attacker admitted his guilt.

Arkhipov and Aksenov were shot dead on June 23 in the Tula region. The bodies of the men were found in a car on the highway. The next day, the suspect was detained. According to the investigation, this is an entrepreneur who, during a joint trip with the victims, shot them in the head from the back seat of the car.
