A motorist killed a pedestrian in Primorye and fled the scene of the accident.

In Primorsky Krai, an unknown motorist killed a pedestrian and fled the scene. This was reported to PrimaMedia news agency by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The hit-and-run occurred early in the morning on Tuesday, June 24, on the 428th km of the federal highway A-370 "Ussuri". According to preliminary data, a pedestrian was hit by a car moving from Vladivostok towards Khabarovsk.

The male pedestrian suffered various injuries, from which he died on the spot. The driver disappeared.

A search is underway for the motorist. A check has been organized on the incident, and all the circumstances of the accident are being established.

On June 9, it was reported that in Nefteyugansk in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the police found a driver who hit a child in a Niva car and fled the scene of the accident. A four-year-old girl who got under the wheels was dragged several meters.
