A new testing ground for testing innovative technologies designed to improve the country's road infrastructure has been opened on the basis of the M-Telematics company in Ramenskoye, Moscow region. This is stated in the message of the Telematics concern, which was received by Izvestia on June 25.

It is stated that the landfill should accelerate the development and implementation of technologies for the transformation of the transport industry. It is located on an area of 1 hectare, where a zone with sites with modern road infrastructure has been created, which is being transformed for various test scenarios.

In conditions of real traffic flow at the landfill, it is planned to test the "interaction of intelligent transport solutions" and cars at different speeds at different distances under changing weather conditions.

Also at the site, experts are going to test prototypes of the latest devices for "smart" roads using data exchange technologies not previously used in the transport industry. The advantage of the technology is the ability to transmit information even in the absence of mobile and satellite communications.
