Five people were injured when an elevator fell in Makhachkala

Five people, including one child, were injured when an elevator fell in an apartment building in Makhachkala. This was announced on June 25 by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Dagestan.

"In total, as a result of an elevator accident in an apartment building in the Redox village of Makhachkala, five people were injured, one of them a five—year-old child," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that at the moment their lives are not in danger. The injured are receiving the necessary assistance, and their condition is assessed as moderate.

"The issue of treating the victims is under the control of the Minister of Health of Dagestan Yaroslav Glazov," the Ministry of Health added.

On the same day in Makhachkala, an elevator with people in one of the multi-storey buildings fell on Gaptsakhskaya Street. At the time of the fall, a man and a woman with children were in the elevator. The Dagestan Prosecutor's Office has organized an investigation into the incident.
