The head of the LPR banned the sale and use of Starlink terminals in the republic

The Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) banned the sale and use of SpaceX equipment, including Starlink terminals. This was announced on June 25 by the head of the region Leonid Pasechnik.

"I have decided to ban the sale and use of SpaceX (USA) equipment, including Starlink terminals, on the territory of the LPR. The relevant decree has already been signed," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, during a special military operation, the main task is to ensure the security of the information space and citizens. The enemy can use Starlink technology to coordinate actions, transmit information, and launch an attack on the territory of the LPR.

"I would like to emphasize that this decision is aimed solely at ensuring the safety of our citizens and protecting the interests of the republic," said Pasechnik.

On June 24, Rosgvardiya special forces destroyed the Starlink station of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv direction. It is specified that it was used to coordinate the actions of units and control drones.
