Over the past week, more than 1.8 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) were registered in the Murmansk region. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
During the week, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections increased by 28%. The increase in morbidity is recorded in all age groups. Preschool children account for 46.7% of all cases of the disease.
According to laboratory data, rhinoviruses, MS viruses, adenovirus, bocavirus and metapneumoviruses are circulating in the region.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor released a report according to which cases of measles, rubella and whooping cough spread in Russia in 2024, including fatal cases due to complications. The reason was the refusal of citizens from vaccination.
