- The communique of the NATO summit mentioned the prospects of Ukraine's accession to the alliance

The communique of the NATO summit does not mention the prospects of Ukraine's accession to the alliance. This is evidenced on June 25 by a public statement published on the association's website.
"The Allies reaffirm their continued sovereign commitments to support Ukraine, whose security contributes to our security, and to this end will include direct contributions to Ukraine's defense and its defense industry when calculating Allied defense spending," the communique says.
According to The Telegraph newspaper, the communique of 2024 contained the wording: "Ukraine's future is in NATO." According to the publication, the statement signed in The Hague amounted to less than 10% of the volume of the previous year's communique.
At the same time, it is noted that the latest signed document contains just over 400 words, compared with more than 5,000 words in the previous statement.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump stressed that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is currently in a very difficult situation. Answering questions from journalists, the American president allowed the possibility of meeting with Zelensky at the NATO summit in The Hague.
