An elevator with people fell from the 13th floor of an apartment building in Makhachkala

In Makhachkala, an elevator with people in one of the multi-storey buildings fell on Gaptsakhskaya Street. This was reported on June 25 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Republic of Dagestan.

"The investigative department for the Leninsky district of Makhachkala of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan has organized a procedural check in connection with the fall of an elevator from the 13th floor in an apartment building at 15a Gaptsakhskaya Street," the department's Telegram channel says.

At the time of the fall, a man and a woman with children were in the elevator. As specified, their lives and health are not in danger, but the woman needed medical attention.

"The necessary investigative actions are being carried out at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident," the Investigative Committee added.

The Dagestan Prosecutor's Office has organized an investigation into the incident.

On June 16, an elevator carrying a woman and a child crashed in an apartment building in St. Petersburg. The passengers suffered bruises and went to the trauma center.
