In the Lipetsk region, a 75-year-old woman was injured as a result of fraud. The pensioner transferred 1.1 million rubles to outside accounts.
According to the victim, she received a call from a stranger who introduced himself as an employee of the Department of Social Protection of the population. He convinced the pensioner that her bank accounts were allegedly under threat. The woman agreed to transfer the savings to a "secure" account. This is reported by GOROD48.

In Magadan, fraudsters deceived a 73-year-old man. The victim received a message in one of the messengers allegedly from the head. The text stated that law enforcement officials should contact the man. Soon, a stranger called the pensioner, who stated that fraudulent actions had been recorded on the bank accounts of the Magadan resident. The pensioner transferred 2 million rubles to "protected" accounts.
