The Russian Embassy announced Britain's choice of confrontational relations with the Russian Federation.

The UK has decided to continue further confrontation and escalate tensions with Russia. The Russian Embassy in London announced this on June 25.

"The imaginary risks allegedly emanating from Russia have been placed at the center of the strategy. This is accompanied by openly offensive rhetoric against our country. In this regard, we have to repeat that such accusations are empty and false. Russia has not threatened and does not threaten Britain and its people," the embassy quoted RIA Novosti as saying.

It is clarified that throughout history, it was the United Kingdom that started conflicts and acted as a generator of strategic provocations in the framework of relations with the Russian Federation. According to the embassy, the goal of the state is to "show off" in front of NATO members and "put anti—Russian dust in their eyes."

"After all, the current Cabinet of Ministers clearly cannot achieve this by other means — by a constructive agenda and improving the quality of life of the population," the embassy stressed.
