Trump declared significant damage to Israel from the conflict with Iran

Iran caused significant damage to Israel by sending ballistic missiles at it, which led to great destruction. This was announced on June 25 by US President Donald Trump at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the alliance's summit in The Hague.
"Israel has suffered a lot, especially in the last couple of days from [Iranian] ballistic missiles. <...>. They have destroyed many buildings," Trump was quoted as saying by The Times of Israel newspaper on the sidelines of the summit.
At the same time, the American leader added, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "should be proud of himself," because his country has perfectly shown what it is capable of during a military attack. In turn, Iran, after receiving the response, "will not create bombs for a long time," the head of the White House noted.
"I think Israel will tell us about this very soon, because Bibi (Prime Minister Netanyahu. — Ed.) is going to involve people in this situation. We will hear that it was destruction, it was actual destruction," CBS quoted Trump as saying.
Earlier in the day, Trump compared American strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan during World War II. According to the American leader, it was the United States attack on Iranian nuclear facilities that ended the conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel.
The day before, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Katz noted that he thanked Washington for Trump's courageous decision to act together with Israel against the Iranian nuclear threat. According to him, Hegseth praised the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for their "historic successes."
