The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of the Yalta settlement in the DPR

The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the town of Yalta in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). On June 25, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage of military personnel's combat work.

It is noted that during the offensive, the soldiers of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Vostok group of forces established full control over the village in less than three days.

"Having gained a foothold in the village, the stormtroopers unfurled Russian flags and carried out a sweep of all buildings," the ministry said.

The Ministry of Defense added that engineering and sapper groups had cleared the area and the territory adjacent to Yalta.

The stormtroopers were supported by tanks with non-standard drone protection.

The liberation of Yalta in the DPR by the Russian military became known earlier that day. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian Armed Forces also defeated units of two mechanized brigades, an assault regiment, a regiment of unmanned systems and a marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in several regions of the republic.
