Computers currently do not have the ability to fully work with artificial intelligence (AI). This was announced on June 25 by Sam Altman, head of OpenAI and creator of the chat bot ChatGPT.

"Computers, software, and hardware, exactly how we imagine modern computers to be, were designed for a world without AI. And now we live in a different world, and what you expect from hardware and software is changing pretty fast," he said during the OpenAI Podcast. Altman's words are quoted by Windows Central.

Altman argues that the user's needs for software and hardware are likely to change as AI becomes more widespread. According to him, when the artificial intelligence revolution takes place, users may want to interact with software and their devices in a different way than just looking at the screen.

On January 21, US President Donald Trump announced the creation of Stargate, which will invest up to $500 billion in AI as part of a new partnership with OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank. According to the leader of the United States, Stargate will create physical and virtual infrastructure to support the next generation of AI.
