Callas allowed Canada to join the EU

The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, admitted the possibility of Canada joining the European Union (EU). She stated this in an interview with Bloomberg on June 25.

"You know, I was asked this question — Canada wants to join the EU. <...> I noted that perhaps a small obstacle is that Canada is not geographically located in Europe. But they had an answer to this: The Arctic — we are connected through the Arctic. So who knows," she said.
