Oreshkin expressed hope for the development of the construction industry

Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, expressed hope that new projects would become the main event for developers this year. He stated this on June 25 at the plenary session of the real estate forum "Movement" in Sochi.

"The launch of new projects and the completion of current ones will be the main event of the year, despite the not very positive environment for developers and developers this year," he said.

Oreshkin also drew attention to the fact that some developers got rid of debts in advance and entered a difficult economic situation with zero debt burden.

"The situation is good for them. Now they can safely choose new projects and the most delicious pieces," Oreshkin explained.

Earlier, on June 18, at the SPIEF-2025 session "Forming a new platform for global Growth," Oreshkin pointed to the emergence of new centers of economic growth in the world. According to him, if even 10, 20, 30 years ago the countries of the Global South and East were responsible for economic growth, now they are already a large part of the global economy.
