Armenian law enforcement officials are conducting a search at the residence of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, who is also the leader of the opposition Holy Struggle party. This was announced on June 25 in the Telegram channel of the movement.

The network publishes footage of the archbishop's detention.

"Masked special forces of the Armenian National Security Service are also involved in the search conducted at the residence of the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, His Holiness Bagrat," the statement said.

Earlier in the day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that law enforcement agencies in Armenia had succeeded in preventing a large-scale plan to seize power. The Investigative Committee (IC) of the state has accused the leader of the opposition movement "Holy Struggle" Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan and his supporters of terrorism with the aim of seizing power.
