UAC handed over a batch of new Su-35S fighters to the Russian Defense Ministry

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense a new batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters manufactured under the state defense order. This was announced on June 25 by the UAC press service.

"The new 4++ generation fighters have passed a full cycle of factory tests in various operating modes and have flown to their home airfield," the corporation's Telegram channel says.

Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC, noted that the UAC intends to increase the pace and volume of production in order to ensure the fulfillment of the growing state defense order.

The Su‑35S fighter is designed to destroy ground and surface targets at any time of the day, as well as to operate in difficult weather conditions at great distances from the home airfield.

The UAC handed over the previous batch of Su-35S fighters on May 12. In addition, the company clarified that new batches of Su-35S, Su-34 and Su-57 aircraft are also in production.
