An emergency regime was introduced in two districts of the Republic of Tyva due to the hot weather. This was announced on June 25 by the main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"By a decree of the administrations of Dzun-Khemchisky and Sutkholsky districts, due to the persistent dry and hot weather, which contributes to an increase in the number and area of fires, a municipal emergency regime has been introduced," the agency noted in its Telegram channel.

According to the agency, there are three forest fires on an area of 87 hectares in the districts. 63 people and 12 units of special equipment were involved in fighting fires.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there is currently no threat to human settlements.

Earlier, on June 24, it became known about an increase in the area of a forest fire near the village of Atamanovka in Transbaikalia to 4.5 thousand hectares. It is specified that no direct threat to the residential area was found.
