The IDF reported the death of seven soldiers during the fighting in Gaza.
Seven Israeli soldiers — six soldiers and one officer — were killed on June 24 during the fighting in the Gaza Strip. This was announced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in its Telegram channel.
As indicated in the IDF, all the dead belong to the corps of combat engineers. Among them is an officer, Lieutenant Matan Yeshinovsky. The identity of one of the servicemen has not yet been disclosed.
It is specified that another soldier was seriously injured during the fighting in southern Gaza, he was hospitalized.
According to the Reuters news agency, Israeli soldiers were killed in the city of Khan Yunis as a result of an explosion of a device installed in a car.
On June 25, Al Jazeera reported that at least 21 people had died as a result of Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip. Eight of them were near the humanitarian aid delivery point at the time of the Israeli attack.
