- Naval aviation carried out more than 40 sorties as part of the exercises of the Pacific Fleet forces in Kamchatka.

During the exercises with the forces of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), naval aviation carried out more than 40 missions with tasks. This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.
"At the first stage of the exercise, the crews of Ka-29 and Ka-27 helicopters of various modifications worked out the withdrawal of forces from under attack, as well as elements for relocating to deployment sites and masking aircraft on the ground," the ministry said.
In addition, IL-38 and IL-38N anti-submarine aircraft, as well as AN-12 and AN-26 transport aircraft were involved in the exercises. After flight exercises and relocation to alternate airfields, the specialists involved prepared the equipment for additional departures from new sites.
As part of the events, part of the carrier-based aviation was sent to the ships to support the actions of tactical groups at sea.
"At the final stage of the exercise, anti—submarine aircraft will carry out training bombing at targets simulating a surface ship of a simulated enemy, and helicopters will launch unguided aircraft missiles and fire aircraft cannons," the Pacific Fleet said.
Scheduled aviation exercises with the Pacific Fleet forces are held on June 16-30 in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan.
On June 23, Pacific Fleet ships conducted exercises with elements of artillery firing in the Pacific Ocean. In the course of practical actions, the crews used automatic artillery installations AK-630M, providing high fire density and effectiveness in repelling attacks by small drones and unmanned boats (BEC).
