Motorized infantry destroyed an American M119 cannon and an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR

Motorized rifle units of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a US-made M119 artillery piece and an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on June 25 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the area of the settlement of Alexandro-Shultino in the DPR, soldiers of the 4th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a 105-mm M119 cannon and an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the ministry said.

It is specified that the warehouse was hit by the dropping of an explosive device from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and the American cannon was hit by an FPV drone.

The stormtroopers were supported by tanks with non-standard drone protection.

On June 24, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of combat work during the liberation of Dyleevka in the DPR. The ministry clarified that the settlement was liberated thanks to the coordinated actions of the servicemen of the 4th separate motorized Rifle Brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army of the Southern Group of Forces.
