The media reported an increase in the staff of the US National Security Council

The administration of US President Donald Trump has begun hiring more staff to the National Security Council (NSC) after reducing the staff of the department. This was reported by Bloomberg on June 24, citing sources.
"The reshuffle is being carried out on the instructions of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who served as National Security Adviser for several months. <...> Most of the council was dissolved after the departure of [former National Security Adviser Mike] Waltz, as Trump sought to minimize the role of the National Security Council in making foreign policy decisions," the agency said.
According to Bloomberg, this step signals that the US administration is seeking help to resolve foreign policy issues. Among them, there is an attempt to establish diplomatic relations with China, the Palestinian-Israeli and Iranian-Israeli conflicts and the conflict in Ukraine.
Earlier, on May 23, it was reported that Trump, together with Rubio, are reorganizing the National Security Council, reducing the number of department employees. According to the portal, these procedures are part of the fight against the so-called deep state (the emergence of hidden structures in the state that are not elected by the people and influence politics and the economy).
