Due to the suspension of airport operations in some cities of the Volga Federal District (PFD), airlines are adjusting their flight schedules. This was announced on June 24 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako in the Telegram channel.

"For example, Aeroflot cancelled some flights on June 24 from Kazan, Samara and Saratov. Passengers of cancelled flights are offered to reissue tickets for subsequent flights or refund funds," he said.

The airline Nordwind also informed about the change in the flight schedule. Representatives of Kazan Airport reported that together with air carriers they are taking measures to ensure the comfort of passengers.

"Airline representatives are also working with passengers of delayed flights at Samara Kurumoch airport. Passengers with children are offered accommodation in the mother and child's room," Korenyako said.

Similar actions are being taken at Saratov's Gagarin Airport. Additional staff was deployed there to maintain the service.

Earlier in the day, temporary flight restrictions were imposed at the airports of Samara and Ulyanovsk, at Cheboksary airport, as well as in Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. The decision was made to ensure security.
