Peseshkian says Israel's "terrible price" for aggression against Iran

Israel has failed to achieve its goals and has paid a terrible price for its aggression against Iran. This was stated on June 24 by the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, in an address to the Iranian people. The text of the statement is provided by the Tasnim agency.
"The enemy has failed in achieving its goals of destroying facilities and disrupting nuclear research in Iran," Pezeshkian said, quoted by Tasnim in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the huge amount of destruction and destruction of important facilities and centers in Israel has demonstrated to the whole world that the price of "adventurism against the great country of Iran is terrible." In addition, the Iranian president stressed that the country believes in peaceful coexistence with all neighboring states and hopes to jointly resist attempts to sow discord in the region.
Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump announced the entry into force of an agreement related to a complete cease-fire between Israel and Iran. Iran later confirmed the truce. Peseshkian assured that the Iranian side would not abandon the cease-fire if Israel did not violate its terms.
