A machine gun with artificial intelligence was tested in India.

The Indian defense company BSS has developed artificial intelligence (AI) to control a machine gun in autonomous mode and has successfully tested it. This was reported on June 24 by The Economic Times newspaper.
"An Indian company conducted the country's first test of an AI—enabled lethal weapon system in collaboration with the Indian army," the material says.
It is specified that an autonomous machine gun was used during the test, which is capable of detecting and hitting targets at long distances with high accuracy. According to the publication, this marks an important step in India's efforts to modernize its defense platforms using AI.
BSS co-founder Vicky Chaudhary emphasized that this machine gun is the first type of weapon in India with artificial intelligence that can fire any weapon, including up to 50 caliber. According to her, the country has now joined the group of selected states that are successfully testing atomic lethal weapons.
On May 24, a representative of Rosoboronexport announced the introduction of an AI system into the Su-57 multipurpose single-seat stealth fighter. It was clarified that this made it possible to make a military aircraft with an electronic co-pilot out of it. In addition, it was noted that the AI assistant will support pilots during scheduled flights and in combat scenarios.
