The American general highly appreciated the combat capability of the Russian Armed Forces

The US Department of Defense highly appreciates the combat capability of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, especially the Navy, as well as the capabilities of the Russian Federation in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on June 24 by the candidate for the post of head of the European Command (EUCOM) of the US Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Alexus Grinkevich.

"Russia has an advantage in the air due to its experience in mass production and daily combat use of single—use attack and multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicles," Grinkevich said during a Senate hearing on his appointment, which was broadcast on the CNN-News18 YouTube channel.

According to him, Russia has improved its methods of using drones during the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, Grinkevich pointed to the high combat capability of the Russian navy due to the commissioning of new ships and submarines.

"The Russian Navy remains the most combat-ready naval unit in the Black and Caspian Seas," he stressed.
