Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously to Sergeant Radislav Khugaev, who died in the battles for Mariupol in 2022. The relevant decree was published on the official website of the legal acts on June 23.

"For the courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty, to award the title Hero of Russia to Radislav Vadimovich Khugaev (posthumously)," the document says.
