Norway will allocate about $650 million for the purchase of UAVs for Ukraine


Norway will allocate about $642 million for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for Ukraine. This was reported on June 24 by the Reuters news agency with reference to the government of the kingdom.
"Norway will provide Ukraine with 6.5 billion crowns ($641.9 million) for the purchase of drones and technologies for them from Ukrainian and other European manufacturers," the article says.
As the country's Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Stere, emphasized, drones play an important role in the defense of Ukraine.
The day before, the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, announced the implementation of 80% of the European Union (EU) initiative on the supply of ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She added that by the end of the year, Europe should collect 2 million ammunition for Kiev.
