In Transbaikalia, it was proposed to limit the time of alcohol sales in bars

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, they want to limit the retail sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants until 23:00, and in stores until 22:00. This was announced on Tuesday, June 24, according to the press service of the regional government.

Such a proposal was put forward in connection with the increase in crime, writes the ChitaMedia news agency. Thus, 60 out of 67 crimes, seven out of eight robberies and 12 out of 16 robberies are committed while intoxicated.

Since the beginning of the current 2025, 7972 crimes have been registered in Transbaikalia. Of the 3,417 crimes completed, 1,121 were committed by persons under the influence of alcohol.

Earlier it was reported that the law on the turnover of alcohol-containing products was amended in Transbaikalia. The innovations relate to the time of sale of "hot" drinks during mass events.
