Doctors have not revealed brain damage in a child who was injured as a result of an attack by an unknown man at Sheremetyevo airport. The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Moscow region, Ksenia Mishonova, announced this in her Telegram channel on Tuesday, June 24.

"Doctors have confirmed that there is no brain damage, that the boy is in stable condition. They will try to take him off the ventilator in the next two days. <...> We will monitor his well—being, I am sure that everything will be fine and he will recover," the Moscow City News agency quoted her as saying.

The Ombudsman added that it will take at least a month to restore the child's health.
