UN Secretary General Guterres urges Iran and Israel to adhere to truce

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on Iran and Israel not to violate the ceasefire regime previously proposed by US President Donald Trump. He stated this on June 24 on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"I sincerely welcome President Trump's announcement of a cease-fire between Israel and Iran. I urge both countries to fully comply with it," Guterres wrote.
The UN Secretary General stressed that the fighting must stop. He noted that the citizens of the two countries "have already suffered too much."
On June 24, Trump announced that the truce between Iran and Israel had entered into force. According to him, a "complete and total ceasefire" will first be announced for 12 hours, then the conflict will be considered over.
Later, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recorded rocket launches from Iran after the ceasefire was announced. It is specified that a few hours after the missile hit Beersheba, additional launches from Iran were recorded in the northern region. Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz then stated that he had instructed the IDF to strike Tehran in response to the shelling from Iran after the ceasefire was announced.
