In the Kirov region, a teenager was arrested on suspicion of murdering a child.

The Kirovo-Chepetsky District Court of the Kirov region arrested a 14-year-old teenager on suspicion of murdering a child. This was reported on June 24 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

According to the investigation, on June 21, a 14-year-old teenager, during a conflict against the background of personal hostility, stabbed a 10-year-old boy multiple times in the chest, neck and upper limbs, from which the child died on the spot.

"The Kirovo-Chepetsky District Court of the Kirov region, at the request of the investigation, is investigating a 14-year-old teenager accused of committing a crime under paragraph b of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor)," reads a statement posted on the department's Telegram channel.

It is noted that the teenager was arrested for a period of 2 months.

On June 9, it became known that a local woman suspected of murdering her young daughter was detained in Voskresensk, near Moscow. The woman was taken to the investigative department, and specialists are currently working with her. Examinations have been appointed to clarify the motives and circumstances of the case.
