Director of the Roscongress Foundation took part in the Mentor Lounge as part of the Day of the Future at SPIEF 2025

On the final day of the SPIEF, June 21, Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation, visited the Mentor Lounge as part of the International Youth Economic Forum "Day of the Future". He shared with the young specialists the story of building their own careers and talked about what qualities are important for success. The head of Roscongress also focused on the development of social projects in Russia, their role in shaping the company's image and the country's international image, and the prospects for cooperation between business and the non-profit sector.

Traditionally, within the framework of the Youth Day, meetings of young entrepreneurs with business leaders are held at the SPIEF site. The format of the Mentor Lounge involves close communication in small groups, the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the mentors' personal experiences.

The first part of the conversation focused on leadership skills, as well as the role of young professionals in international institutions and projects. The head of the Roscongress Foundation believes that the main thing is to love your job and assemble a good team. In managing a large organization, it is necessary not to be afraid to make difficult decisions, act decisively, be patient, and be able to listen to colleagues. "It is especially important to listen to young professionals, because they set the rhythm for the future. We have launched a large number of programs for young people – internships, internships, special projects and training programs – for a reason. This is not an obligation, but an opportunity to learn from a new generation – your energy, fresh eyes, and even new words," said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

In conditions of turbulence, whether it is economic instability, geopolitical shifts or technological revolutions, the need for flexibility, adaptability and fresh ideas increases. What young people have – the energy of adaptation, the speed of thinking, openness to new things, learning ability and the ability to work in the digital space – helps them successfully overcome difficulties and win. Young professionals are increasingly becoming agents of values: justice, equality, social responsibility, as well as a powerful driver of change. They help organizations stay alive, sensitive to the challenges of the times, and be closer to real people. That is why the Foundation develops the concept of youth days at its own events, involving young people in social activities as much as possible.

In the second part of the meeting, the participants discussed topics related to social initiatives and the development of non-profit organizations in Russia.

Since 2020, the Roscongress Foundation has been developing and implementing its own socially oriented, career and youth projects, which are integrated into the ecosystem of the "Potential of the Country". The purpose of these projects is to create a space of trust where everyone can express themselves, get help and support, and find like–minded people. "We advocate an integrated approach to the formation of the country's human resources potential and the creation of equal opportunities for all.: affordable education, social inclusion, career guidance and adaptation of young people, the effectiveness of finding and employing talented specialists. My personal goal is to help create conditions in which talented young people from every corner of the country can find their place, realize themselves, receive help and opportunities for growth," shared Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Management Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

When it comes to social projects, the benefits for specific groups of beneficiaries and organizers are always discussed. But do not forget that socially significant initiatives not only bring practical benefits to all participants, but also improve the climate in society as a whole, increasing the level of trust. That is why the Roscongress Foundation develops the ecosystem of the "Potential of the country", attracts young people to the implementation of projects, and brings projects to the international level.
