Two bears escaped from the enclosure of the Wildwood Devon zoo and ate a supply of honey in the store. This was reported on June 24 by the Daily Express newspaper with reference to the zoo administration.

"Five-year-old siblings Misha and Lucy escaped from their enclosure at the zoo. The zoo said they "went straight to the grocery store" and "in no case posed a threat to the public," the newspaper said.

It is specified that the incident occurred on June 23. According to the zoo administration, all visitors were immediately evacuated to a safe place. Later, the keepers were able to return the bears to the enclosure within half an hour, after which the animals fell asleep.

In addition, the police promptly arrived at the scene. They are now establishing the circumstances of the incident.

On May 3, it was reported that a wolf escaped from an enclosure at the Limpopo Zoo in Nizhny Novgorod. It was clarified that the visitors were evacuated, and the predator returned to the cage after a while, as a result of the incident, no one was injured.
